Lizzie Fluke

Lizzie Fluke is a high-performance leader and strength & conditioning specialist with extensive experience building and leading multidisciplinary performance programmes across football and Olympic sport. Her work is defined by a clear focus on performance strategy, periodisation, athlete availability, and the delivery of robust systems that support both results and long-term player care. She is also an expert ISSPF faculty member, contributing practical, real-world insight to coach and practitioner education in high performance.

She is currently Head of Performance at Etihad Club (Amman, Jordan), supporting men’s and women’s first teams as well as male and female youth programmes. In this role, she leads performance planning and delivery across the club pathway, aligning physical preparation, monitoring, and athlete welfare with the demands of competition and development.

Alongside her club work, Lizzie is the Director and Head of Performance at Lizzie Fitness, a performance services provider she has led since 2010. Through this platform, she has supported a broad client base from amateur to elite level across athletics, combat sports, and team sports—experience that underpins an adaptable, performance-first coaching approach.

Lizzie has also held senior roles in elite football environments in the UK and Europe. She served as Head of Performance & Medical at London City Lionesses, leading the strategic development of the club’s performance environment and integrating athlete-centred care with high-performance planning. Prior to this, she was Head of Performance at Kristianstads DFF (Sweden), directing performance strategy and support systems, and earlier contributed in the men’s professional game as Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Malmö FF during a championship-winning season and European competition preparation.

Across her career, Lizzie is recognised for combining high standards with values-driven leadership—using evidence-informed practice to improve readiness, reduce injury risk, and build performance cultures that consistently support winning teams.
