Earlier, he worked in Spanish football with Gimnàstic de Tarragona as a Fitness Coach (part-time, July 2018–June 2020), gaining further experience in planning and supporting training loads in a demanding professional setting. He also has experience within coach education, having served as a Professor with the Federació Catalana de Futbol (September 2014–September 2016), contributing to the development of coaches through education aligned to performance practice.

His academic profile includes a UEFA B Diploma (Real Federación Española de Fútbol) and university training in Primary Education and Physical Education (2010–2012), alongside further postgraduate specialisation noted in high performance in team sports, a professional master’s in football, and ongoing work as a PhD candidate in sport science.
