Dr. Liam Anderson

Dr. Liam Anderson completed his postgraduate training at Liverpool John Moores University, earning an MSc in Sports Physiology (Merit, 2012–2013) before completing a PhD (2013–2017). That academic pathway sits alongside an applied career that bridges elite club football, consultancy, and university-based research in applied exercise physiology.

Before moving fully into his university role, Anderson held senior performance positions in professional football, including Head of Sports Science & Medicine at Crewe Alexandra (September 2017–July 2021) and Head of Sports Science and Fitness at Videoton FC (June 2016–June 2017) in Hungary.
